Tell us your canna-story. What led you to this industry? What was your first endeavor and what piqued your interest about cannabis?

I have always been passionate about using and sharing plants for medicine. I have spent my life as an herbalist and a botanist and happen to live in the middle of the Emerald Triangle. My business partner and I created a line of products using cannabis and other medicinal herbs because we wanted to share the cannabis plant in a way that could be functional for users without being incapacitating.

What is your favorite thing about working in cannabis and what keeps you excited about continuing to work in this space? What do you find to be unique about this industry?

I love the ingenuity that is required to continue to thrive in this industry. There is never a dull moment! Additionally I really love the community that has been created around the cannabis industry. There are a lot of very smart and competent people that are involved and it’s fun to get to know them and to have the opportunity to work together.
