Tell us your canna-story. What led you to this industry? What was your first endeavor and what piqued your interest about cannabis?

I first joined the industry as the head of Communications for New Frontier Data. Cannabis had just been legalized for adult use in Colorado and looked to be an exciting new industry. I had never consumed cannabis or would consider myself a proponent of if, but I could get behind trying to tell it’s story to help it game acceptance.

What is your favorite thing about working in cannabis and what keeps you excited about continuing to work in this space? What do you find to be unique about this industry?

The bulk of my career prior to cannabis, I spent as a journalist and I loved that job because I got to see history happening everyday, I get that same feeling working in the cannabis industry.

What do you think is the next BIG THING in Cannabis?

In the near future, I believe that the medical market is going to outpace the adult use market.  Since Covid, everyone seems to care a great deal more about their health and are going to be looking for a new sense of a general well being. Plus, pharmaceutical companies are going to want to take advantage of all the amazing medical properties that this plant can provide.

What is a little known fact about yourself? What are some of your interests and hobbies?

I grew up quite the tomboy and was a very good athlete. Now, I am an avid baker and can make anything for you that you like.

Who is someone that inspires your work?

All the women that came before me.
