Tell us your canna-story. What led you to this industry? What was your first endeavor and what piqued your interest about cannabis?

My story is that cannabis helped me with my cancer treatments. I chose surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation to fight HER2+ breast cancer. While still undergoing cancer treatment, I bought some land and began building our farm. We assembled a fabulous team and have been growing amazing indoor cannabis since 2017. The values I choose for my daily life are also the same for my business — joy and integrity. We treat our employees, customers and vendors with respect. We do the right thing. This is evidenced by paying a living wage, offering health insurance and paid time off, paying our vendors on time, building relationships with our customers. Our cannabis is requested in dispensaries all over the state and has a reputation for consistency and quality. We hear great feedback from customers who smell and smoke our flower.

What is your favorite thing about working in cannabis and what keeps you excited about continuing to work in this space? What do you find to be unique about this industry?

Cannabis is a very exciting market because it’s constantly changing and evolving. Love being part of the beginnings of a wave of change.
